The award was designed by Jan Plecháč, the Art Director at the Moser Glassworks, who was named the 2023 Designer of the Year. As is customary, the overall winner has the right to create the award for the following year. And considering Moser also won the 2023 Producer of the Year, it made perfect sense to make it in our glassworks.

Over the past year, Moser and its Art Director Jan Plecháč have collected one award after another. The latest is the Grand Prix award for an exceptional achievement, the highest possible award granted by the international jury at Designblok.

On June 6, 2024, our glassmaking master, Zdeněk Drobný, accepted the French title of Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
