MOSER IN COOPERATION WITH HAPPY HEARTS CZECH HELPS CHILDREN
There’s always room for more good deeds, and we’re pleased we can be a part of one. That’s why we’ve topped off our cooperation with Petra Něm-cová’s Happy Hearts Czech foundation and its ceremonial culmination is over.
The ‘Happy Hearts Czech’ foundation builds safe schools in areas affected by natural disasters. One Happy Hearts partner is the American ‘All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response’ foundation, whose co-founder, Czech model Petra Němcová, decided to help affected areas on a long-term and systematic basis after her own personal experience of a natural disaster.
Through Happy Hearts schools, the foundation brings hope and support to generations of children and entire communities. As of today, together with more than 60,000 volunteers from around the world, the foundation has built 306 schools in 15 countries, serving 113,000 children and having a positive impact on 1,203,000 community members. This makes it one of only a handful of Czech foundations with such a significant global impact.
Moser has officially joined the foundation as a proud partner. The Happy Hearts Czech foundation was gifted a total of 14 crystal hearts created in a new color variant of crystal conceived in pink, with a design by Lukáš Jabůrek. A glass artist and former artistic director of Moser glassworks, Lukáš Jabůrek won the Public Award at the 2012 Czech Grand Design for his ‘Pear’ and ‘Kolorit’ vases.
The crystal hearts from the Moser glassworks were auctioned at a gala evening at the Carlo IV hotel and simultaneously via a unique virtual experience launched for the most important auctioneers and supporters of Happy Hearts.
The auction raised a total of 790,647 CZK and we are delighted that, thanks to this, 31 CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO RETURN TO SCHOOL.
