New Products for 2021

The new Solaris drinking set, created by Moser’s Art Director Petr Larva, is unlike any other Moser collection. The common theme of the set is a clean, cylindrical shape of varying proportions and a robust bottom with a gold layer that reflects the light and movement of the surrounding world. It is no coincidence it was named after the Sun.

The Pear vase needs no lengthy introductions. After its successful première which brought Lukáš Jabůrek the Public Award at Czech Grand Design Awards 2012, its author gradually designed two smaller variants. This year, we are introducing a larger and smaller bowl of the same name in a similarly modest design and three colour combinations.

Lukáš Jabůrek is also the author of the Montagne set. Inspired by mountain massifs, these vases combine bold pastel colours with robust cut walls which lend the piece nigh on sculpture-like properties. A smaller bowl and two large bowls have also been added to the Caorle series by the same author.

To celebrate the 160th anniversary of the birth of Alphonse Mucha, we created the Art Nouveau Gems collection of crystal vases, inspired by portraits from Mucha’s four-part series of lithographs from 1897. The female figures, which are the focal point of each painting, captivate by Art Nouveau’s characteristic flowing lines framed by flower motifs, as well as by the original technique of engraving into overlaid vases. Each overlaid layer of colour has different intensity, and the master engraver gradually reveals each thin layer one by one. The outer and inner layers of the vase interweave and light passes through them with different intensities.

150 years have passed since the birth of legendary designer Josef Hoffmann. We commemorate this anniversary with a set of two Art Deco vases called Symmetry, produced in a series of 150 pairs. The work embodies the outstanding craftsmanship of Moser’s glassmakers and cutters.

The Refresh collection works with classic Moser designs but elaborates on them using modern elements. A distinctive feature of this collection is robust colourful bases incorporated as a part of the shape of the vase. The classic look gains a new colour scheme and, by elongating its shape, a new identity as well. The items will find their place in both minimalistic and classical interiors. The Arctic collection of bowls then uses a precise cut and apt choice of colours (aquamarine, beryl, clear crystal) to create the impression of icy beauty.
