Discover the magic of precious moments
31 October 2024, Karlovy Vary - The crystal artworks of the Moser glassworks are synonymous with timelessness and precise handiwork. Each item is a masterpiece that inherits a tradition of more than 160 years. It is unique, just like the precious moments we experience during Christmas.
A touch of sophistication
With the upcoming Christmas season, Moser presents the Dotty vase, designed by Jan Plecháč, in a new colour – coral red. This tender, sensual, and mysterious work never reveals everything, always keeping its secret. The lower, smooth section unconventionally reveals the flower stems, while the upper part, masterfully polished in the form of matte stones, plays with light and the colours of the flowers it holds. This beautiful solitaire stands out perfectly in any interior.
A magical moment
The Drop vase is inspired by a drop of water. This small but fascinating part of nature symbolizes purity, elusiveness, fragility, and strength. The Drop vase transforms its simple beauty into an art object. Thanks to the thoughtful design and precise handiwork, light flows through the vase like a real drop, creating impressive effects. The clear crystal drop carries with it the tenderness and freshness of morning dew. The combination of beryl layered with smoke resembles a raindrop falling through velvet darkness.
Moser first presented this innovation in October at Designblok as part of the Born of Sand installation, which brought the glassworks and its artistic director, Jan Plecháč, the highest recognition – the Grand Prix, awarded by leading international experts in the field of design and architecture.
Crystal scenery
The Montagne vase by designer Lukáš Jabůrek is one of Moser’s bestsellers. It got its name from the mountain peaks, which resemble its massive, masterfully polished walls. Combined with warm colours inspired by sunrise and sunset in the mountains, it literally recharges its energy. It is the unique use of colour that enhances the beauty of this crystal-cut scenery.
A precious heirloom
The Maharani collection represents one of the oldest beverage collections of the Moser glassworks. It is decorated with rich engravings adorned with a floral motif, reminiscent of the finest lace. The elegant shape of the goblet smoothly transitions into the stem, which is cut into six facets. The drinking glass from the Maharani collection is the ideal gem for any festive table.
A unique charm
The Lady Hamilton collection celebrates its ninetieth anniversary this year. One of Moser’s most popular beverage sets was named after the femme fatale, glamorous English actress, wife to diplomat William Hamilton, and lover of Admiral Nelson. The appearance of the chalice is dominated by six broad, arched facets executed in the so-called papal cut. Thanks to its meticulous handcrafting and timeless design, this collection will become the gem of any Christmas and New Year celebration. And precisely because Lady Hamilton fits so well into the festive season, we have prepared a little treat for you throughout Advent. When you buy five glasses from this collection, we will give you the sixth as a gift.
