Jan Čtvrtník
Successful Czech designer with a wide array of work and a great international outlook.
He combined his studies at UMPRUM Prague under MgA. Michal Froněk and MgA. Jan Němeček (of Olgoj Chorchoj studio fame) with internships in institutions like the Vitra Design Museum, the IKEA Design Centre and the NASA Star Design programme in Houston. In 2008, he received the Grand Designer and Designer of the Year awards from Czech Design Academy. In recent years, he has mostly specialised in product and industrial design.
