Maria Makeeva was born in 1987. Though coming from Russia, she has lived in Czechia since being 13 years old. Makeeva graduated from the illustration and graphics at UMPRUM, Prague. Principally, she focuses on illustrating for books and magazines, while collaborating with both Czech and international companies. Many times, she was nominated for the Czech Grand Design price. Furthermore, Makeeva belongs to the most popular artists of the present day.
