Patrik Illo

A glass designer whose work combines a respect for craftsmanship with experimentation, mass-production design and the creation of unique glass artifacts.

He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and went on to study in Great Britain, France and Italy. He specializes in product design for prominent European manufacturers of glassware and he also does experimental design curatorial work. Since 2010, he has led the Glass Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
