Geo white wine glass, 310 ml
This white wine glass stands out with its unusual, geometric looks. In it, renowned glass designer Adolf Matura has united the shapes of the cylinder and sphere into a surprising whole, no less impressive even after decades in production. The main event, however, occurs with the drink. Once the glass is filled, its thin sides allow the wine to shine and, together with the massive base, set the reflections dancing.

Design and production
The journey towards a distinctive style
The cooperation between Moser and artist and designer Adolf Matura started when the glassworks was looking for new drinkware design ideas. He created his first Moser designs in 1953 and between 1956 and 1960, he continued to create designs for the international glass exhibits in Milan, Bruxelles and Corning. Matura’s work reflects the breadth of his artistic scope. While the Geo collection takes a minimalist approach to drinkware glass, in his other creations, he uses pearl décor and floral motifs or, alternatively, a roughly structured surface.
