To create our new crystal collection of motifs from the life of animals, we have chosen emotions as our inspiration. In 2020, the world experienced an unexpected situation that turned the lives of many of us upside down. We want to address
this with positive emotions, the emotions of relationships, of family. Thus, we chose the generational bond between pup and mother, or pup and father, to symbolise the relationships of us all.

    Emotions of the engraving

Roman Chalupka * 1963, has been working at Moser glassworks as an engraver for almost four decades. His works stand out thanks to his attention to detail, talent, craftsmanship, sense of aesthetics and patience. Roman Chalupka started his apprenticeship at Moser under the tutelage of his father Ivan Chalupka – a master engraver and a true legend in the art of engraving.

“What I like about this vase is the colour scheme, as it helps the three-dimensionality of the engraving to come to the fore,” says Roman Chalupka about the Turtles vase.

    SEAMLESS BLENDING AND STRICT CONTRAST

The colours in the upper part of the body seamlessly blend, while being strictly separated in the lower section. Defining the shape of the piece by its cut is a Moser hallmark. Here, the cut takes on the role of a connecting element – a visual “bridge” between the original shape and the added colour accent.

    • Hand-blown from environmentally friendly lead-free crystal
    • Hand cut and polished to a high gloss
    • Made using the glass underlay technique

    Moser Studio

The Moser brand stands as a synonym not only for high craftsmanship but for original design as well. Moser Studio is the creative centre of the glassworks, producing artworks made of lead-free crystal in cooperation with external artists, cutters and engravers. Such works of art are defined by innovative design, unorthodox colour combinations, interesting cutting and engraving techniques and always embody the character of their creators.
