“As the name suggests, the Stones set was inspired by stones, pebbles and their varied shapes. Regarding the cut, I wanted it to create a look of roughly worked stones, prehistoric flint that chips easily and creates beautifully irregular fractures,” says the author, Lukáš Jabůrek. Immediately after its introduction in 2015, the Stones vase was picked out, entirely independently, by both owners of the glassworks as decoration for their interior.

Design and production
A kaleidoscope of reflections and colours
The sophisticated colours in shades of alexandrite and beryl contrast with the dramatically cut surface, which resembles the bottom of a lively river. The vases and bowl from the designer Stones collection are a brilliant example of the art of Carlsbad glass blowers and cutters. Thanks to the irregularly cut edges and precisely polished surfaces, the compact shape turns into a playful kaleidoscope that provokes your imagination with its visuals.
- Hand-blown from environmentally friendly lead-free crystal
- Hand-cut and polished to a high gloss
- Made using the glass underlay technique

Graduate of the Glassmaking vocational college and the High school of Applied Arts in Nový Bor. Winner of the Public Award from Czech Grand Design in 2012, for the design of the Pear and Kolorit vases.
