The minimalist lines of this vase attract maximum attention. The eyes first focus on the massive base, from which hard-edged sides with colour underlay rise up. The sophisticated Moser colours lead the eyes up towards the edge, which emphasises the six-sided mouth of the vase. With the simple shapes and clarity of the hand-cut crystal, Purity is an unmistakable design piece, which will impress even those who try to resist the attraction of Moser cut glass.

Captivating colouring of hand-cut crystal
Around 1920, the timeless beauty of the art of antiquity and the Renaissance gave rise to a series of bowls in the neoclassical style, which dominated Europe at that time. Of course, it wouldn’t be Moser if we didn’t introduce something new into traditional forms: coloured cut crystal with gold decoration. The result is impressive. Despite the age of its design, the bowl looks incredibly modern, in great part thanks to the inimitable colour shades and their underlaid combinations.
- Hand-blown from environmentally friendly lead-free crystal
- Hand-cut and polished to a high gloss

Moser
The unique Moser colours of these vases were created in 1920s and 1930s in Berlin laboratories under personal oversight of Leo Moser. Alexandrite, beryl, eldor, topaz, aquamarine and rosaline in combination with crystal’s optical properties give a wide range of possibilities to the glassmakers. The colour becomes an equal partner of the design and precision craftsmanship of Carlsbad glassmakers, glass cutters and engravers.
